Whole Paychecks

So most of us has heard the Whole Foods should change their name to 'Whole Paychecks'. While the cost might be higher, it is nice knowing we do not have to question what we are buying.

So, we will start this like an American Express commercial:
Returning food from refrigerator and pantry: $75
Purchasing new E2 approved foods: $340
Improving your health: Priceless!

Now, while the cost was much higher than we might ever spend, much of this food will last us for months. Who is going to consume a pound of flax seed in a week?



So we made our first dish from the E2 Diet book, the Raise-the-Roof Sweet Potato-Vegetable Lasagna! It certainly took awhile to prepare and while is certainly was missing something (Duh Cheese!) the dish was pretty good.The lasagna recipe is huge and will probably make 9 servings, so we will be having leftovers for awhile! :-)





Day 1 starts tomorrow with my first group support session. Looking forward to meeting some of the members going through this journey together.
