A diet cannot start without some baseline statistics so here are mine:
Height: 6'
Weight: My morning weight is 227 (wowzers! potentially the heaviest I have ever been)
Blood Pressure: When I was tested for the CITY study, this was not abnormal. Close to 140/80
Cholesterol: I have always had high cholesterol. I and my doctors have always blamed this on 'family history' but I am beginning to think that this is not the case. I think it is due to the animal fat and protein that I have been eating for years. We will soon find out if I and Rip are right or not. (139/79)
LDL or 'bad cholesterol" = 189
Total Cholesterol = 271
HDL = 47
Triglycerides = 174
Glucose, Serum = 95
Insulin = 10.1
Pulse = 83
These numbers are certainly interesting and I look forward to having this test done again in a month or so to see how things have changed.
