I decided to find out more about what I was getting into. I went to the site -> http://www.forksoverknives.com/ and watched several trailers of the video. This certainly seemed interesting and I wanted to learn more. I checked the website to order the film... After seeing the price and the shipping I decided to search the entire web and came across Amazon who was holding a 'free shipping' even for purchases over $30. I purchased the 'Forks over Knives' video, the 'Engine 2 Kitchen Challenge' video and 'Forks over Knives' recipe book.
It is important to note that at this point I have not mentioned this to Leigh at this point. I wanted this to be a surprise. She has been making fun of me (and trying to motivate me) recently for my weight and the fact that I have not done much about it, so I figured we could sit down and watch the film and she would be excited and proud that I actually was taking matters into my own hands...
